Oggi è stata la prima giornata di test sul circuito di Rijeka dove si svolgeranno buona parte delle prove di campionato.
Il feeling con la moto è stato da subito buono, non abbiamo fatto regolazioni radicali alle sospensioni ( in fondo era la prima volta che provavo la moto), l'elemento che richiede un po' per potersi abituare is the fact of having to crank the engine at very high: in fact the ideal range of use ranges from 12,000 rpm to 17,500 rpm, a very different range than the suzuki gsxr I used last year that gave the best of 9,000 rpm to 13,500 rpm
We had a lot of work to do, we had to decide whether to run with Bridgestone (Racing the BT002) or Dunlop (Sportmax GPRacer) at the end after testing the first morning and the afternoon, the second choice fell on Bridgestone tires more specifications and they gave us a better feeling of driving. Remains the doubt as to the width of the tire during the day we used two rear tires with wide 180/55 17 But coming quickly enough to the limit of adhesion, so for the next test in favor of a rear tire size 190/55 17.
The budget of the day can only be positive, we started to gain some feeling for the medium and decided on the brand of tires, as we shot with an average time of 1'43 "with the best lap in 1'42 ".
